Melissa "Mel" Ann Marie Fuller-Trent was the Page Ten Columnist at the New York Journal. She moved to New York City from a small town in Illinois.

Early life[]
Mel was born in the small town of Lansing, Illinois.[7] Her parents were Don and Beverly Fuller. She had a brother, Robbie, whom married a woman named Kelly. They had two sons, Kenny and Richie, and continued to reside in Lansing.[8]
Adulthood[]
After graduating from college, Mel moved to New York City. She began working at the New York Journal as its Page Ten Columnist. Mel became best friends with the paper's food critic, Nadine Wilcock.
